Abstract:
To provide a ground sample sampling method and sampling device that can collect frozen ground samples (frozen soil columns) without coring and with no use of a heavy machine, and can reduce a time and expenditure requiring establishment of the frozen soil column.SOLUTION: A ground sample sampling method is composed of: a heat source unit insertion step 5 of inserting a heatable heat source unit and coolable sample pull-out member into ground where ground samples are collected; a ground sample freezing step 6 of cooling the heat source unit inserted in the heat source unit insertion step 5, and causing the ground sample around the heat source unit to be frozen; a heating step 7 of heating the heat source unit after the ground sample freezing step 6, and causing one part of the frozen ground sample to be melted; a heat source unit pull-out step 8 of pulling out the heat source unit from the frozen ground sample; and a ground sample collection step 9 of pulling out the ground sample frozen after the heat source pull-out step from the ground by the sample pull-out member, and collecting the frozen ground sample without coring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
