Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable simultaneous control and administration of plural units of welding machines by linking the data between an upper computer and controllers for welding machine.

CONSTITUTION: M units of controllers #1W#M for welding machines are connected by a data link transmission path 4 to an upper computer 3. When the computer 3 receives the welding end signal 41 from #1 of the controller 2, the computer 3 transmits the set value 42 of welding conditions to #1 and transmits the command 43 for starting welding upon completion of the transmission. The computer 3 receives the raw data 45 on the welding conditions from #1W#M of the controller 2 and administers the displaying, recording, etc. with display and printing devices after edition of the data unless the computer 3 receives the welding end signal from #1W#M of the controller 2. The controller 2 starts controlling the welding machine 1 connected to the same upon receiving of the set value for welding conditions from the computer 3.
