PURPOSE: To surely guide the line of the sight of a driver or the like without being affected by weather by deflecting a laser beam light and projecting it in a space and forming the planar graphic of the laser beam light in the upper area of a passage.

CONSTITUTION: A guidance display device 10 is provided along the shoulder of a roadway 3, the guidance display device 10 is provided with plural standing poles 12 and the respective standing poles 12 are installed mutually apart at a prescribed interval. A laser oscillator 19 is attached to the base part of the respective standing poles 12. The laser beam light 22 is emitted from a light deflector 11 at the tip of the upper arm of the standing pole 12 towards the road surface of the roadway 3 and from the light deflector 11 at the tip of a lower arm upwards from the vicinity of the road surface of the roadway 3. When the beam light is quickly deflected within a certain fixed range according to a prescribed program, the driver or the likes looks at actual scattered light, also feels like a planar pattern is plotted in the space by effect of after- images and guided along the roadway.
