Title:
GUIDE RAIL OF LINEAR-MOTOR-DRIVEN ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2603889
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a guide rail of an elevator which does not require the upper part of a building to be strengthened and can control the cost of the building from increasing by mounting the lower end portion of the guide rail of a balance weight to a guide rail supporting block anchored to an elevator shaft wall face, and providing a space between the upper end portion of the guide rail and the ceiling of the elevator shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A guide rail supporting block 30 comprising brackets 32, 33 secured to a transverse member 31 is placed on a pit floor face 17 and the bracket 32 of the guide rail supporting block 30 is anchored to an elevator shaft wall face 35 by bolts 34 and a guide rail 9 is anchored at its lower end portion to the bracket 33. A space (t) is provided between the upper end portion of the guide rail 9 and the ceiling 20. The guide rail being supported in this way, even if an upward force acts on the guide rail 9 during emergency stop of a cage 3, loads are transferred to the elevator shaft wall face 35 via the guide rail supporting block 30 and the force does not act on the ceiling 20 nor the upper part of the building.
