Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable straightening of hair firmly and easily by planting bristles on each of a supporting base which sandwiches the hair and a hair holding plate.
CONSTITUTION: A supporting base 20 with a jet hole for jetting steam or hot air and a hair holding plate 22 which sandwiches hair between itself and the supporting base 20 are provided. The opposing surfaces of the base 20 and the plate 22 are planted with bristles 25 and 26. As thus planted bristles 25 and 26 hold the hair, when tension is applied to the hair after heated by steam or hot air, the hair does not slip and therefore the tension can be applied to the hair firmly. Consequently, the hair can be set straight firmly and easily.
