Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put bundles of blanks at a fixed position on a front conveyor which follows a wrapping machine by gripping layers in which a plurality of bundles of blanks are formed on a base individually or by a group by a pick-up head.
SOLUTION: A pick-up head 18 can move above not only a pallet 12 but also a front conveyor 14 on a lower side of a cross rail 24 and suspends a telescopic member in the vertical direction in such a way that it is movable in a lower part of the cross rail 24 to ascend, descend, and move. The pick-up head 18 automatically advances onto an upper position of a bundle 10 of blanks to be taken up, is lifted together with the bundle 10 of blanks without accompanying the rotary movement, and moves in the crossing direction via an adsorptive member in order to take out the contents of the pallet 12. The pick-up head 18 lowers until the bundle 10 of blanks is put on the front conveyor 14 at an upper position of the front conveyor 14.
