To provide a hanger for hanging a jacket, while suppressing shape loosing of a jacket.

A hanger, different from conventional hangers, includes: a long part that is a part for connecting a hook part and an upper part to the other end of the hook part; a right-shoulder shape retaining part that is positioned in the side of a right shoulder of a jacket, connects a left side to the long part, and forms a right shoulder part profile that has a profile obliquely extending movingly in the right direction, as it moves from a part connecting to the long part towards a back side of the jacket, as viewed from above, and further extending along a curve of the right shoulder of the jacket; and a left-shoulder shape retaining part that is positioned in the side of a left shoulder of the jacket, connects the right side to the long part, and forms a left-shoulder part profile that has a profile obliquely extending movingly in the left direction, as it moves from a part connecting to the long part towards the back side of the jacket, as viewed from above, and further extending along a curve of the left shoulder of the jacket.
