To provide a hanging apparatus in which a suspending member can be rotatably moved in two directions orthogonal to each other with respect to a supporting member without a decrease in strength, and the suspending member can be inserted from nearly and immediately below the supporting member even when being used while being attached to an inclined ceiling, and the risk when the suspending member is attached and detached is reduced and the appearance when it is detached is improved.

A hanging apparatus includes a supporting member 1 formed by rotatably attaching a receiving body 3 to an attaching base 2 in an X direction by using a rotating shaft 6 and covering them with a cover 4, the supporting member being used while being attached to a ceiling surface; and a suspending member 5 in which an inserting part 18 having a nearly laid cylindrical shape is provided in an upper end portion of a shaft 16 and a hanging part 17 having a ring shape is rotatably provided in a lower end portion of the shaft. Further, the inserting part 18 is provided with protruded parts 19 outwardly projecting from both sides of the shaft 16. When the apparatus is used, the insertion part 18 of the suspending member 5 is aligned in longitudinal direction to an insertion hole 11 of the receiving body 3 and inserted into the insertion hole 11 and rotated at 90 degrees, so that the suspending member 5 is supported by the supporting member 1.
