Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display apparatus that can reduce the time required to raise a combiner, and that can increase design flexibility of a lower rear section to prevent interference with other instruments.SOLUTION: A HUD apparatus 1 is structured such that a first cover 7 opens and closes a first opening, which is disposed on a path along which a combiner 5 moves, and a second cover 8 opens and closes a second opening 3, which is disposed on an optical path through which the combiner 5 is irradiated from a light-projecting portion of a light-emitting unit 6 (second mirror 16). While the combiner 5 is being moved from an accommodated position toward a projecting position, the second cover 8 retracts into a space between the combiner 5 and the light-projecting portion while rotating forward similarly to the first cover 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
