Title:
HEADPHONE WITH BODY SENSORY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6084096
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain a headphone through which a feeling of grave low frequency sound, i.e., the presence is obtained by providing a sound pressure generator provided to an end of a head band and a low frequency sound vibrator provided to the sound pressure generator at a prescribed relation of position.

CONSTITUTION: The low frequency sound vibrator consists of a magnetic circuit section being a driver unit comprising a voice coil 11 fixed to a case 10, a magnet 12, a yoke 13 and a yoke plate 14 and of a damper 15 supporting the said magnetic circuit section freely movably to the case 10, and its vibrating plane is directed in the direction of the curved inside of the head band 1. A sound pressure is generated from the sound pressure generator in response to a signal applied to the voice coil 5 from a signal source 17. Moreover, the magnetic circuit section including the magnet 12 is reciprocated in response to a low frequency sound electric signal fed to the voice coil 11 via a filter amplifier 18, a limiter 19 and an amplifier section 20 so as to generate mechanical vibration.
