Title:
HEADPHONE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010141455
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent a user from receiving electric shock due to discharge of static electricity by gradually discharging static electricity charged to a housing of a headphone composed of an insulator.

The headphone includes a drive unit for converting a sound signal into a sound wave and discharging the sound wave, the housing 1 in which the drive unit is built in, and an ear pad 2 integrally fixed on the housing 1 and brought into contact with the periphery of a user's ear. The housing 1 and the ear pad 2 are covered with a conductive film 25 so that their potential becomes the same potential as that of a human body. A needle electrode 10 is extended from a metal portion of the drive unit to the housing 1, a planar electrode 18 is arranged on a position of the housing 1, which is opposed to the needle electrode 10, and the needle electrode 10 and the planar electrode 18 compose a self-discharging electrode.
