Abstract:
To provide a versatile heat developable photosensitive material which is usable in common by various different thermal developing devices, and to provide an image forming method using the same.
The heat developable photosensitive material has, on at least one surface of a support, an image forming layer containing at least photosensitive silver halide, non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for heat development, and a binder, and also contains at least two different dyes of 20 to 50 nm in maximum absorption wavelength, the difference between a gradation when development is carried out at 120C for eight seconds and a gradation when development is carried out at 120C for 14 seconds being not larger than 0.5.
