Title:
HEAT EXCHANGER MADE OF ALUMINUM ALLOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58213198
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce cost, by a method wherein an extruded multi-hole pipe of an aluminum alloy consisting of 0.2W1.0% Cu, 0.2W0.6% Fe and the remainer of Al and unavoidable impurities is used as a tube for a heat exchanger, and a brazing sheet is used for providing fins.

CONSTITUTION: The extruded multi-hole pipe of an aluminum alloy consisting of 0.2W1.0% Cu, 0.2W0.6% Fe and the remainder of Al and unavoidable impurities is used as the tube 1, while the brazing sheet is used for providing the fins 2, and both thereof are brazed to each other to constitute a heat exchanger. Accordingly, tensile strength is enhanced, wall thickness can be reduced, and efficiency in extrusion can be enhanced, so that working cost and the quantity of materials can be reduced.
