To provide a heat exchanger in which powder dusts adhered to a heat transfer pipe can be removed without making any substantial damage to an operating condition of the heat exchanger having the heat transfer pipe in the case that the heat transfer pipe is constructed by porous heat transfer material.
In the case that a heat exchanger for heat exchanging heat supplying gas containing powder dusts with gas of heat receiving side through a heat transfer pipe 103 is constructed, the heat transfer pipe 103 is made of porous heat transfer material. This heat exchanger comprises an inner pressure increasing mechanism A for supplying gas into the pipe from near both end locations of the heat transfer pipe 103 so as to increase a gas pressure in the pipe.
