Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a transparent bottle which can be filled at high temperature by using a polyester polymer containing dicarboxylic acid composed of terephthalic acid or its derivative of ester forming properties as a main component and also a diol component containing a dihydroxy compound as a material.
CONSTITUTION: A bottle is composed of a polyester polymer containing dicarboxylic acid composed of terephthalic acid or its derivative of ester forming properties and a diol component containing a dihydroxyl compound represented by a formula of 5-15mol%, and the glass transition temperature of the polymer is 80 C or over. In the formula, R1 represents alkyl and R2-R5 represent hydrogen or alkyl. The polyester polymer to be used is prepared by performing ester exchange reaction for which calcium salt of organic acid is used as a catalyst and then polymerizing, and its natural viscosity is 0.70-0.90dl/g. As for a dihydroxyl compound, preferably 9,9-bis-(4-hydroxyethoxyphenyl)-fluorene is used.
