Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treat furnace in which a discharge phenomenon is less likely to occur.SOLUTION: A heat treat furnace 1 includes: a housing 20 formed by a conductor; a heating chamber R1 which is defined in the housing 20 and heats a workpiece W; an electrothermal heater 22 inserted into the heating chamber R1 in a vertical direction and having a heating element 220 which is electrically grounded through the housing 20. Thus, even if soot is likely to deposit in the heat treat furnace 1, a discharge phenomenon is less likely to occur around a lower end of the heating element 220.
