Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heatable roll to heat a sheet-like material such as a cardboard paper which prevents the temperature rise in the roll when the manufacture is interrupted, and reduces the heat loss.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet-like material heatable roll is formed as a heat shut-off body to avoid the increase in the environmental heat loss under a manufacturing condition, and provided with a jacket 3 in which a roll is arranged with an interval from a surrounding roll, and means 4, 5 to feed a cooling fluid to the interval formed between the roll 2 and the jacket when a switch is closed while the manufacture is interrupted, are provided.
