PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater device for metallic product capable of heating the metallic product uniformly and rapidly.SOLUTION: A main body of a device for heating a cylinder head 16 as a metallic product comprises a super-heated steam supply mechanism for supplying super-heated steam from a nozzle 21 toward the cylinder head 16; a hot air supply mechanism for similarly supplying hot air from the nozzle 21 toward the cylinder head 16; a heater mechanism for heating the cylinder head 16 with radiation heat of a sheath heater 31; and a heat storage mechanism for heating the cylinder head 16 with stored heat in the device main body; Then, the super-heated steam is supplied from the nozzle 21 at the initial stage of heating at the cylinder head 16 and after that, supplying of the super-heated steam is stopped through the changing-over operation of the changing-over plug, hot air is supplied to heat the cylinder head 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
