PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker performing determination of a load on food or the like properly, and performing heating on the basis of the load determination.SOLUTION: A heating cooker includes: a top plate 3; a heating unit 7; a camera 9 provided above the top plate 3, and photographing a subject on the top plate 3 to acquire a subject image; and a control unit 21. The control unit 21 includes subject identification means 22 identifying a subject on the basis of the subject image, and fire power control means 23 controlling fire power of the heating unit 7 on the basis of the identification result of the subject identification means 22.
