PURPOSE: To obtain the title stockings capable of protecting the heel from fissure development, also excellent in thermal insulation by heat bonding a thin cloth, through a synthetic resin film provided only on the periphery of said thin cloth, to the inner surface of the heel-hiding part of thin stockings such as tights to effect coating said part with a synthetic resin.

CONSTITUTION: A thin cloth 3 is heat bonded, through a synthetic resin film 4, such as from a polyurethane resin provided only on the periphery of said thin cloth 3, to the inner surface of the heel-hiding part 2 of thin stockings 1 such as panty hose or tights to effect coating the heel contact surface of this thin cloth 3 with a synthetic resin 5 such as nylon resin, thus obtaining the objective stockings.
