Abstract:
To provide a hermetic seal for a ball screw for providing a sufficient sealing function at a low cost.
Sealing pieces 15d, 25d of the seals 15, 25 abut at a slant with respect to a screw axis circumferential surface of a screw axis 1 and bend in a predetermined one direction depending on the abutting screw axis circumferential surface. Therefore, an abutting state of the screw axis 1 and the seals 15, 25 can be predicted, and a seal shape corresponding to it can be optimally designed. Thus, a sufficient sealing property of the seals 15, 25 can be easily secured.
