Abstract:

To provide a high-frequency induction heating type device for recovering reduced iron, which can simply recycle iron oxides and zinc contained in the electric furnace dust which is produced in steelmakers and the like, and now is disposed as industrial waste as a resource at a low cost, by taking out reduced iron and zinc from the electric furnace dust.

The high-frequency induction heating device enables the iron oxides contained in the electric furnace dust produced in the steelmaking makers to be recycled as the reduced iron, by heating and reducing the iron oxide with the use of high-frequency induction heating and a reducing agent. When the electric furnace dust contains zinc, the high-frequency induction heating device also enables the zinc to be recycled as zinc or zinc oxide.
