Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure water electrolysis apparatus which has a simple configuration, discharges high-pressure hydrogen dissolved in an electrolytic membrane easily and reliably in depressurization and improves durability of the electrolytic membrane.SOLUTION: A protective sheet member 52 is arranged between a solid polymer electrolytic membrane 40 and an anode power supply body 42 constituting a high-pressure electrolysis apparatus 10. The protective sheet 52 has a frame part 68 facing a seventh seal member 66g as a seal receiving part and a through hole formation part 72 which is provided inside the frame part 68 and formed with a plurality of through holes 70 and 70a. The through hole formation part 72 has the through holes 70 and 70a from the inner to the outer side in the range opposite to an anode electrode catalyst layer 42a.
