To provide a recliner for vehicle capable of preventing wrong meshing by inhibiting play from generating, which can retain high stiffness and has improved durability and a simple structure wherein total number of parts, assembling time and manufacturing costs can be reduced.
The recliner for vehicle comprises: an upper operating member 20 linked and fixed to a lower fixing piece which is linked to a seat fixing base for fixing a seat and forming the seat as a main frame; a lower operating member 30 fixed to an upper fixing piece which is formed so as to fix a back seat by mutually contacting with the upper operating member; a working cam 60 interposed between the upper operating member 20 and the lower operating member 30 by inserting a fixed shaft 70; and a first and a second lock gears 40 and 50 fitted and fixed between the lower operating member 30 and the working cam 60. The lower operating member 30 is locked or unlocked by the first and the second lock gears 40 and 50 by rotation of the working cam 60.
