Abstract:

To provide inexpensive reed dents having good balanced characteristics on all of corrosion resistance, fiber abrasion resistance, raw material flatness, punchability, barrel abrasiveness and shape modifiability.

The highly durable reed dents comprise a stainless steel raw material having a multi-phase metal tissue comprising a ferrite phase and a martensite phase mad containing 0.01-0.15 wt.% of C, 10.0-20.0 wt.% of Cr, 0.3-5.0 wt.% of one or more metals selected from Ni, Mn and Cu, if necessary, ≤1.0 wt.% of Mo, ≤0.03 wt.% of B and ≤0.20 wt.% of Al.
