To provide a holder for mail stamps capable of carrying the stamps or the like such as mail stamps, revenue stamps, certificate stamps or the like without loss, dirt, damage, bend or the like and simply containing or taking out the stamps or the like.

The holder A for stamps or the like comprises a flat surface plate-like body plate 10, and opening/closing plates 20, 30 fixed to the plate 10 through fixing parts. In this case, the plate 10 and the plates 20, 32 are formed of a synthetic resin such as polyester or the like and particularly the plates 20, 30 are formed of transparent or translucent members. In the case of containing or taking out mail stamps S, the holder A is bent by grasping a long side of the holder A in such a manner that the plates 20, 30 are opened obliquely upward.
