Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce force required above the ground for supporting pile on immersion of a hollow pile by giving buoyancy to the hollow pile.
SOLUTION: A buoyancy adjuster 10 and a wire 13 are attached to the upside of a blocking board 7 composed of an elastic plate and a reinforcement plate and formed in a shape for blocking the hollow part of a pile, and thereby a block device 15 is made up. With the block device 15 attached to the lower end of a hollow pile body 17 made of concrete, a hollow pile 20 is constructed (a). The hollow pile 20 is buried in a pile hole 21 and used in the same way as in the case of normal ready-made pile. As the hollow pile 20 reaches a fluid such as cement milk 22 in the pile hole 21, buoyancy is given to the hollow pile 20 (b), and thereby piling becomes possible to be executed with a bearing capacity smaller than the self-weight of the hollow pile 20. As the buoyancy of the hollow pile 20 becomes excessive, the buoyancy is adjusted (c) with the buoyancy adjuster 10 with the block device 15 opened. After completion of immersion, the block device 15 is raised (d), being pulled up with the wire 13 from the surface of the ground.
