Abstract:
To provide a horizontal articulated robot that enables intuitive teaching operation.SOLUTION: A horizontal articulated robot 100 comprises: a base 110; a force detection part 180 which is provided in the base 110; a first arm 120 which is connected to the base 110, and rotates on a first axis J1 of rotation; a second arm 130 which is connected to the first arm 120, and rotates on a second axis J2 of rotation; a third arm 140 which is connected to the second arm 130, and rotates on a third axis J3 of rotation and moves along the third axis J3 of rotation; a control part 170 which controls an operation of the first arm 120, second arm 130, or third arm 140 based upon a detection value of the force detection part 180; and an operation part 200 which has a teaching point registering operation part for operating to register, as teaching pints, positions of a third arm operation part operating the third arm 140 and control points by the control part 170, and is provided to the second arm 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
