To provide a hose capable of improving hose performance without deteriorating attachment strength of a connecting metal fitting.
In the hose, a plurality of reinforcement layers formed by braiding cords made of a metal wire or an organic fiber are laminated between an inner surface rubber layer and an outer surface rubber layer through an intermediate rubber layer. The outermost reinforcement layer of the plurality of the reinforcement layers is constituted by a braid obtained by braiding two sets of the cords spirally wound in directions opposite to each other so that the cords of the one set are vertically overlapped with the cords of the other set respectively for every two cords, and the reinforcement layer on the inner side of the outermost reinforcement layer is constituted by a braid obtained by braiding the two sets of the cords wound in the directions opposite to each other so that the cords of the one set are vertically overlapped with the cords of the other set respectively for every three cords.
