Title:
HOT-FORGED COMPONENT HAVING EXCELLENT FRACTURE SPLITTABILITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010270358
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a hot-forged component which can exhibit satisfactory fracture splittability even in the case the contents of C, V and P are reduced.

The hot-forged component having excellent fracture splittability has a chemical component composition comprising, by mass, 0.27 to 0.50% C, 0.10 to 2.0% Si, 0.5 to 1.5 Mn, 0.015 to 0.07% P, 0.01 to 0.2% S, 0.10 to 1.0% Cr, 0.03 to <0.20% V, 0.015 to 0.1% Ti, ≤0.05% (excluding 0%) Al and the balance iron with inevitable impurities, and in which the total area ratio of a ferritic structure and a pearlitic structure is ≥90% to the whole structure, and further, (ferrite grain size number F)-(old austenite grain size number A)≥3 is satisfied.
