To perform reliable traveling shift operation and steering turn operation, to improve reliability during the stop of a traveling device and bringing it into neutral and during straight advance wherein no turn steering operation is effected, to compact constitution, and to reduce a cost, in a HST type transmission device provided with an HST continuously variable transmission mechanism for traveling and an HST type continuously variable transmission mechanism for revolution and arranging two hydraulic pumps and two hydraulic motors.
In this transmission, an HST transmission turn operation of a crawler type working machine is effected such that rotation is applied on a differential gear mechanism under transmission and by an HST type continuously variable transmission mechanism 28 for turn. In this case, a brake device during neutral is arranged on the output shaft of a turn hydraulic motor 27. Further, a brake device during neutral is formed such that a brake case formed such that a wet type multidisc mechanism and a solenoid valve are integrally formed is attached to a case for the HST continuously variable transmission mechanism for turn.
