PURPOSE: To provide a cost-reduced hybrid bearing which generates no seizure with counter part members, and is capable of controlling the groove depth easily without using any advanced manufacturing facility.

CONSTITUTION: Resin impregnation is realized on a bearing surface 1A of a porous body of carbon or graphite, and a groove 4 to generate dynamical pressure and multiple air supply port orifices 3 to eject gas or orifices of porous material are provided on the bearing surface 1A. The porous material is of non-agglutinative type, enabling formation by machining of the groove 4 to generate dynamical pressure to accomplish the purpose.
