To solve such a problem that oil film shortage due to insufficient lubrication occurs on a rolling surface of a roller because an ejection port of a lubrication oil path is opened toward an external part of a roll bearing interposed between an input shaft and a second swash plate, in a hydraulic continuously variable transmission in which a hydraulic pump part having a first plunger/a first swash plate and a hydraulic motor part having a second plunger/the second swash plate is arranged back and forth in the shaft direction via a cylinder block fit onto the input shaft and a main oil path communicating both plungers to each other is provided on the cylinder block.
A needle bearing 28 is interposed between an input shaft 2 and a second swash plate 22. The needle bearing 28 has a plurality of needles 78 and a retainer 79 which freely rotatably stores and retains the needles 78. A lubricating oil path 70 for supplying lubricant oil 85 is disposed in the input shaft 2, and ejection ports 72a, 73a of an input shaft lateral surface 2a communicating with the lubricating oil path 70 are opened toward the interior of the retainer 79.
