To effectively heat and vaporize a liquid phase medium in a hydraulic source device for a vehicle which makes a gap between an outer shell and an inner shell a heating room for flowing coolant for cooling a power source mounted on the vehicle and makes a pressure room in which medium changing from liquid to gas is filled in the inner shell and compresses an oil room by the vapor pressure of the medium in the pressure room to generate hydraulic pressure.
A top bottom plate 9 is mounted to the bottom of a pressure room 4 with a gap between it and the bottom wall 2a of an inner shell. A gap is made between the periphery of the top bottom plate 9 and the peripheral wall 2b of the inner shell 2 such that the liquid drops of a medium are dispersed upward through the gap from the gap below the top bottom plate 9 when the medium boils. A projection 11 is made on the inner plane of the peripheral wall 2b to increase a heat transfer area.
