To compose a pump and motor distribution valve to compose a hydraulic closing circuit for connecting a pump to a motor in simple structure of low manufacturing cost.
This hydraulic type continuously variable transmission CVT is composed of a hydraulic pump P of a swash plate plunger type and a hydraulic motor M of a swash plate plunger type connected to each other by the hydraulic closing circuit. A pump swash plate member 21 is driven to rotate, a pump cylinder 22 and a motor cylinder 32 are coupled to each other to be disposed on an output shaft 40, and a rotation-regulated motor swash plate 31 is oscillated to adjustably vary a swash plate angle. In a valve hole 40a axially penetrating the output shaft 40, a pump side spool 50 which integrally rotates with the pump swash plate member 21, and a motor side spool 60 fixed and held are inserted and disposed. The hydraulic closing circuit is composed of the spools 50 and 60, and a plurality of communication oil passages formed in the pump cylinder, the motor cylinder, and the output shaft.
