To provide a hydraulically driven motor which is high in output density and delivers high output torque.
The hydraulically driven motor 1 comprises a closed-end cylindrical case 2, and an annular hub 3 is disposed in the center of the bottom of the case 2. Six blades 4 arranged at equal intervals are extended from the outer circumferential surface of the hub 3 toward the inner circumferential surface of the case 2. The rotor comprising the hub 3 and the blades 4 functions as a rotor of screw propeller structure sandwiched between a positive-pole stator 5 and a negative-pole stator 6. With a direct-current voltage of several kilovolts applied to between the positive-pole stator 5 and the negative-pole stator 6, electric-field conjugate fluid causes a stream directed from the positive-pole stator 5 to the negative-pole stator 6. The blades 4 receive the stream and cause the rotor to produce rotational force.
