Abstract:
To provide a hydrophilic nonwoven fabric in which characteristics of inorganic oxide having excellent oxidation resistance and excellent wettability to an electrolyte are not impaired due to coating with a binder and the inorganic oxide is less likely to fall down without including any binder that elutes in various solvents and solutions.SOLUTION: A hydrophilic nonwoven fabric obtained by subjecting a nonwoven fabric to hydrophilic processing is configured to include fibers constituting the nonwoven fabric, graft copolymer and inorganic oxide, in which the inorganic oxide is held in the fibers constituting the nonwoven fabric by interposing the graft copolymer therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
