Title:
HYDROSTATIC CONTINUOUS VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04181053
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize the downsizing of a transmission and secure durability by bringing directly and slidably the first and the second distributing valves and clutch valves into contact with eccentrics, and forming at least mutual slidably contacting parts of the valves and the eccentrics of materials having abrasion resistance.

CONSTITUTION: Head parts 68 of respective first distributing valves 60 are brought directly and slidably into contact with the first eccentric 63, and head parts 86 of respective second distributing valves 61 and head parts 93 of respective clutch valves 62 are brought directly and slidably into contact with a slidably contacting member 64a arranged on the inside surface of the second eccentric 64, and the first distributing valves 60, the second distributing valves 61, the clutch valves 62, the first eccentric 63 and the slidably contacting member 64a are formed of materials having high abrasion resistance, that is, SACM645 treated by means of nitriding after being treated by thermal refining or SCM420 treated by means of carburizing. Thereby, bearings are not required to interpose between the first distributing valves 60 and the first eccentric 63 and between the second distributing valves 61, the clutch valves 62 and the second eccentric 64, so that the number of parts can be reduced and the downsizing can be realized.
