To facilitate handling of jam that occurs at a discharge port.SOLUTION: A paper discharge part 300 includes as multiple loading parts, three discharge trays: a first tray 337; a second tray 336; and a third tray 335. The first tray 337 is a movable loading part that can vertically move. A CPU 100 causes the first tray 337 to go down or go up by controlling a lifting motor 340 in accordance with the determination that jam occurs in the proximity of a first discharge port 187 that corresponds to the first tray 337 or in the proximity of a second discharge port 186 that corresponds to the second tray 336.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
