Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that, when adjusting a printing position, can correct a printing position of an image by using an optimal reference side.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: exposure devices and the like that form an image on a sheet on the basis of image data; a scanner unit that reads a test sheet formed by the exposure devices and the like; selection means that selects a reference side of the sheet (step S102); creation means that creates an adjustment condition for adjusting a printing position with respect to the sheet on the basis of a result of reading performed by the scanner unit and the selected reference side (step S105); and a CPU that performs image processing on the image data on the basis of the created adjustment condition, and causes the exposure devices and the like to form an image on the basis of the image data on which the image processing is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
