Abstract:
To detect a moving body region in a plurality of image data while suppressing an influence of luminance variation due to illumination.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus for detecting a moving body region in reference image data which is one of N pieces of image data (N is a natural number satisfying N>3). The image processing apparatus determines that a pixel of interest is a pixel included in a moving object region for each of N pieces of image data, when it is determined that there is luminance difference between an average luminance in a local region including a plurality of pixels including the pixel of interest and an average luminance of the pixel of interest in each of image data other than the reference image data, and when a standard deviation of the average luminance corresponding to the pixel of interest is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
