Abstract:
To provide an image processing method and image processing system capable of quickly and accurately detecting moving distance, rotation amount, and scaling factor between two images which have subtle change.
The image processing system comprises a local template creating means 101 for extracting a local template from a template image 104, a local matching means 102 for detecting the position of the local template in a target image 105, and a calculating means 103, wherein the calculating means 103 calculates the moving distance, rotation amount, and scaling factor from the local template information 106 and detected block information 107.
