PURPOSE: To shorten the wait time originating from an image recording process by providing a means which transfers a recording request to another image recording device when an image recording device is in process of recording.

CONSTITUTION: When an information processor B sends a request for another image recording process to an image recording device C through communication devices 116 and 126 before the image recording of image information is completed between the communication device 106 of an information processor A and the communication device 126 of the image recording device C, the image recording device C transfers a 'job request token' to an image recording device D through communication devices 126 and 136. The image recording device judges whether or not another image recording process is currently performed by a CPU 134 and sends 'job acceptance' back to the information processor B when not. The information processor B having received the 'job acceptance' transfers image data to a recording device 135 in the image recording device D through the communication devices 116 and 136 and a deloping device 132 records the data on an image recording medium.
