Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a satisfactory image to be acquired even if photographing is performed under a light source in which flicker occurs.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: determination means for determining whether flicker occurs; first detection means capable of detecting a feature point of the flicker; and control means for controlling timing at which imaging of a subject is performed using imaging means. If the determination means determines that flicker occurs before consecutive imaging, the first detection means detects a feature point of the flicker between first imaging of the consecutive imaging and second imaging that is performed next to the first imaging. If the determination means determines that flicker does not occur, the first detection means does not detect any feature point between the first imaging and the second imaging. If the determination means determines that flicker occurs before consecutive imaging, the control means controls timing at which the second imaging is performed, based on the feature point detected by the first detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
