Abstract:
To obtain excellent anti-vibration performance even when an imaging interval is short.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: an imaging element 104 which captures a subject image formed by an imaging optical system; moving means 107 which moves the imaging element for preventing vibration; and control means 102 which controls the moving means. The control means controls the moving means so as to move the imaging element along with an optical element 113 in the imaging optical system for anti-vibration, in each of a first imaging period and a subsequent second imaging period. The control means executes one of first anti-vibration control which controls the moving means so as to return the imaging element to a predetermined initial position after an end of the first imaging period and to move the imaging element from the initial position in the second imaging period, and second anti-vibration control which controls the moving means so as to hold the imaging element in a position at the end of the first imaging period and to move the imaging element from the position at the end of the first imaging period in the second imaging period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
