PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of performing high-speed and highly-accurate focus control.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus (1) capable of acquiring an image signal through a first imaging part (100) or a second imaging part (120) includes a distance information calculation part (21) which calculates distance information on the basis of the image signal obtained through the second imaging part and control parts (30 and 41) which perform the focus control of the first imaging part or the second imaging part on the basis of the distance information. The control parts execute the focus control of the second imaging part on the basis of first distance information calculated by the distance information calculation part and execute the focus control of the first imaging part on the basis of second distance information calculated by the distance information calculation part after the execution of the focus control of the second imaging part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
