Abstract:
To provide an impact tool in which tip tool attaching/detaching action can be conducted without being affected by dust of chip or the like penetrating into a tool holding part.
A lock member 3 provided in a through hole 2a provided in a front cover 2, and a plate 6 provided to be capable of getting in contact with the lock member 3 are provided to be axially movable in the through hole 2a provided in the front cover 2 in attaching/detaching operation for a tip tool 1. A discharge passage is provided for dust or the like from the inside of the front cover 2 through the through hole 2a out of this impact tool.
