To provide a means for improving the usability including portability of liquid cosmetics through making the best use of good spreadability, excellent moist feeling and the like each inherent in liquid cosmetics.
The objective cosmetic is characterized in having the constitutional requirement of impregnating a porous substrate such as a urethane or highly absorptive urethane with a fluid cosmetic composition such as a liquid foundation; wherein the impregnated part may be fixed by e.g. a mesh material, as necessary, and the porous substrate is preferably a urethane whose preferable characteristics are e.g. as follows: density is 0.01-0.17 g/cm3, preferably 0.02-0.06 g/cm3, cell number is 15-200/25 mm, preferably 17-65/25 mm, and elongation percent is ≥100%, preferably ≥120%.
