Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a risk of damaging a core when wire stripping. CONSTITUTION: The wire stripping tool of a wire has outside jaws 18 and 20 for gripping a wire lace and inside jaws 10 and 12 for cutting into a sheath. The inside jaws 10 and 12 are displaced along a cable with reference to the outside jaws 18 and 20, so that a cut part is removed. An eccentric adjuster is provided, and the position of one inside jaws is changed with reference to the outside jaw, to cope with a widely different insulation thicknesses.
