Abstract:
To provide an on-vehicle cooling device in which insufficient cooling does not occur due to disturbance when using two fans of a brushless motor and a motor with brush.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle cooling device 3 cools a capacitor 1 and a radiator 2 by a first fan 6 and a second fan 7. A brushless motor 6a of the first fan 6 is driven via a motor drive circuit 8, and a motor 7a with a brush of the second fan 7 is driven via an electric conduction relay 9 by a battery 4. According to a cooling command from an engine ECU 5, the motor drive circuit 8 drives the first fan 6, and drives the second fan 7 by turning on the electric conduction relay 9 when cooling capacity is insufficient. Further, when a rotational position of the first fan 6 becomes abnormal due to disturbance, the motor drive circuit 8 stops the first fan and drives the second fan 7, thereby performing cooling. When cooling capacity is insufficient, the motor drive circuit 8 notifies the engine ECU 5 of an abnormal signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
